Information we need to prepare a quotation

How many cards you want to order (per 25).

Size: the standard size for a birth annoucement card is A6 (10.5x14.8cm) or A7, a smaller variant (7.4x10.5cm). Various other sizes - including square - are also an option. 

What kind of paper you prefer. Based on your preferences we'll send you some examples.

If you know in advance that you want to include letterpress printing, embossing, foil printing or coating, you can already mention this.

If you're not sure yet, we will include the special printing options in the quotation, so you'll know how much it would cost you if you decide to add special finishes to your design. 

All prices can be found on our website. In case of special printing techniques, you can request a customized quote.

As soon as we've received your request, we'll prepare a detailed quotation. Once you've approved our quotation, it's time to get started!

After the the quotation has been approved, we kindly ask you to pay a €100,- deposit. This advance payment will be deducted from the final invoice. 

After receiving the advance payment, we're kicking off the design process! You will receive a first design for a collection card within five working days. In case you've ordered a custom card, we'll deliver a first design within two weeks.

At Serafina, we understand that sometimes life can get in the way, especially when you're expecting. If you need a design last minute, other terms can always be agreed upon. Please be sure to contact us and state this explicitly.

You'll receive a digital preview and provide feedback. We provide advice on possible additional printing techniques that are suitable for your birth announcement card. At this stage you can still deviate from the choices you originally made when requesting the preview.

Final design, we check everything one last time for typos or writing errors. 
We'll then have a test printed, to check whether the design is as glorious in real life as it is on screen.

Once you give us the final go, the design will be prepared for printing.
The final invoice will be sent and is required to be paid before the design goes to print.

We're waiting for your baby to arrive. Once your baby is born, you provide us with all the information needed to complete the card as soon as possible. It is best to do this via birth@bottegaserafina.com. We always send a confirmation of receipt.

We will send you a last digital preview as quickly as possible. You check everything one last time and send us your final approval. The printer is contacted straight away and starts the printing process.

After the printing time period our printing company maintains (standard 3-4 working days), the cards will be sent to you by post. You will receive a track-and-trace link so you'll know where your package is and when it will be delivered.
